12 days old today already! Little Emma is SOOO adorable. I actually miss her when she is sleeping (although I do like to nap with her:) I love the way she grabs my hand with her little newborn reflexes. I had her at the Doctor this week and she has only gained 2 ounces since she left the hospital and isn't up to her birth weight yet. I'm trying to keep track of how much she is eating but I can't force feed her. She will go back to be re-weighed next week. I feel fine about it since she is gaining and not losing weight. She has such a tiny little head, I can't resist kissing it whenever I am holding her. Her forehead wrinkles up like a little old man. She still has her umbilical cord so no bath yet. I'm sure she will hate her bath as she doesn't like to be changed or get her outfit changed. She has a cry like a tommy machine gun when she gets really hungry or impatient. She is getting used to sleeping in her bassinett.
